SMS privacy policy
Enrollment is not open yet. These policies describe the planned h Bar LLC Work Notifications program. Wait for a launch invitation before texting START. SMS delivery and enrollment will begin only after the required approvals and operational checks.
This policy covers h Bar LLC Work Notifications, operated by h Bar LLC, an Alaska limited liability company. The Informed is a science and engineering working group within h Bar LLC.
Information used for the program
h Bar LLC collects participants’ names and mobile numbers; individual opt-in messages with date, time, and disclosure version; messages exchanged; delivery and error records; and help and opt-out records. Limited appointment, travel, project, system, or customer-task information may be used to prepare relevant work notifications.
Purpose
Information is used to send the messages participants requested, respond to questions, document consent, honor cancellations, manage access, troubleshoot delivery, and meet applicable legal and carrier requirements. The program is not used for advertising, lead generation, or sale of participant data.
Mobile information and consent
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent will not be sold, rented, or transferred for another party’s messaging program.
Access by service providers is limited to processing needed to support and deliver this program on h Bar LLC’s behalf, including messaging and telecommunications providers. They are not permitted to use that information for their own marketing.
Other disclosures and retention
Information may be disclosed when legally required or as necessary to protect the service. Messaging and consent records are retained only as reasonably necessary to operate the program, document consent, resolve disputes, and satisfy applicable requirements. A suppression record may be retained after cancellation to prevent further messages without renewed consent.
Security and your choices
Access is limited to authorized people and providers who need it for the program. SMS is not a confidential communications channel, and no storage or transmission method is completely secure.
Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for assistance. Email info@theinformed.org to request access, correction, or deletion of messaging information, subject to required retention. The program is intended for invited adults.
